Course overview
Explore how texture, aroma and ingredient behaviour can change a cocktail. Cooperage’s one-week Molecular Mixology Course is designed for bartenders, hospitality professionals and advanced learners who want to work with the science behind modern drink preparation.
Practical training introduces techniques such as spherification, foams, clarification and carbonation. You’ll work with ingredients that alter texture and explore smoke and aromatic preparations, learning how these methods contribute to the overall drinking experience.
The focus extends to flavour balance and execution: combining techniques with garnishes and presentation to create molecular cocktails. You’ll learn to design and standardise your drinks so that an idea can become a preparation suited to professional bar service.
